What Lookslate does
Lookslate offers a makeup quiz, an AI makeup preview that applies one of six looks to your photo or to a sample face, color tips and makeup guides. The quiz, previews on sample models, color tips and guides are free. Each email gets 1 free look on its own photo; after that, looks on your own photo come from paid one-time look packs.
Who can use it
You must be at least [Minimum age — set in src/config/launch.ts] years old to use Lookslate.
Your photos
Only upload photos of yourself, or photos you have permission to use. You keep all rights to your photos. You allow us to process a photo you upload to create your preview and to store it with your result, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, of anyone under [Minimum age — set in src/config/launch.ts], or content that is unlawful.
AI previews and advice
Previews of a photo you upload are generated by an AI image service; previews on sample models are AI-generated photos of fictional people, made in advance from the same look instructions by a different AI image model, so a preview of your photo can look different. Both show a possible style. They can vary and may contain errors, and they do not guarantee how a product or technique will look on you. Color tips and guides are general styling information, not medical or professional advice. For skin conditions, talk to a dermatologist.
Accounts
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address. You can delete a saved look, or your account and all of its data, at any time from My looks.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or scrape it, to access other people's results without permission, or to use it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.
Availability and liability
We aim to keep Lookslate available but cannot promise it will always work or that a preview will succeed. Download any image you want to keep. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and [Legal name — set in src/config/launch.ts] is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will change the effective date when we do. These terms are governed by [Governing law — set in src/config/launch.ts].
